So i find myself up again at 6:00am on the computer and instead of editing or mindlessly surfing the net i research.. researching what?! you might add...inspirations..for photoshoots, for styling and even locations(need lots of those)...

Then i come to a conclusion..My Muse!!

I get lots of inspiration from her!!

Marissa a seemingly thin, longlimbed ,Vietnamese girl whom at first glance looks very conservative and shy.. kinda like you'd expect to see based on media portrayal of asians..however ever what you get is a mouth like a salior and a quick sense of humor plus not to mention a fierce sense of fashion and license to kill when it comes to posing her may i say "buns off!!" as long as i can remember since our first shoot shes impressed me and having a great personality doesnt hurt either!

I first introduced her with a group project i shot in 2009 with 6 models portraying different colors in my color story. Marissa was a hit with everyone and plus she had the best atittude especially since she had some really huge eyebrows!!! a total misunderstanding between the make up artist an I..

I still however loved the shot!!

So world here's the model that always get those creative juices flowing to produce awesome photos!

"Comeback Kid"

So i havent blogged in centuries it seems and quite frankly i havent been very inspired to blog or shoot..its like having writers block or loosing touch with yourself. I've been majorly busy but the body of work to show for it hasnt been what i'd hope for. But i must say on this seemingly lack luster journey i've been taking from 2010 til now i've had some satisfying and enlightening moments..i've learned alot about myself and about who i am as a photographer; a no nonsense,take no prisoners,get 'um' gal, semi perfectionist,i'm the boss type! I also entered another chapter in my life thats been brightening my world! I've begun my second dream of being a fashion stylist! a career thats so rewarding and super creative!! In times of uninspiration and "been there done that "complexes i feel i have room to grow and really explore my view of the world through both photography and fashion.. Yours truly, J/JMI
